She spends her days chasing after and teaching her inquisitive toddler. Working at Coal Creek Adult Education Center as an ESL teacher has awoken a passion for working with adults students. Both her parents immigrated to the United States and learned English, which has given her a lot of respect and admiration for people that want to learn English and improve their lives. Having been raised bilingual, Mari values the importance and the benefits of knowing two languages. In her spare time she enjoys reading, hiking, and going to museums.
